DAVID WYLYNKO
Principle & Founder
David founded West Hawk in 1995 after several years as a journalist at major Canadian newspapers and magazines. He is the co-author of The True Canadians: Forgotten Nevermore (2023), which chronicled 40 years of Métis achievement, and the author of the minor-hockey novel, Puck Luck. David holds a Bachelor of Journalism degree from Carleton University and a Master of Arts degree from Queen’s University.
JAMES HRYNSHYN
Senior Associate
James has worked as a journalist and communications consultant on the Atlantic, Pacific and Arctic coasts of North America. He has Bachelor of Journalism degree from Carleton University and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of British Columbia. He specializes in the editing of scientific and technical documents, websites, podcasts, and has a strong interest in climate change.iversity.
